Active Isolated Stretching Videos
A new treatment for low back pain is now available in Honolulu, Oahu. Tightness in the muscles is a major cause of back pain. Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening gets to the root cause of low back pain by unwinding the critical muscles that affect the low back region. Detail and specificity is what makes AIS therapy most effective at treating lumbar issues.
A new strategy for resolving chronic neck pain is now available in Honolulu, Oahu. Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening is a detailed and thorough form of assisted stretching that addresses the root cause of neck pain issues.
L4, L5, S1 low back pain issues can be greatly improved with Active Isolated Stretching therapy. The muscles surrounding the lumbar discs need to be lengthened to restore the low back health. Excessive pressure from the lower body muscles is the cause of problems in the L4, L5, S1 region.
I have neuropathy in both feet and starting in my fingertips. My toes are starting to curl downward. I also have pain and a squeezing feeling in both feet on the outer part of my feet from my pinky toe down. Can you give any advice?
Jeanie,
Have you purchased my paid videos? That is part of the treatment plan, but not the complete answer.
Hi I have just purchased both your videos. I am from the Uk and I am 43 years old. I had hip surgery when I was about 18 to remove a benign tumour from the neck of my right femor. Although I was assured there was nothing that was preventing my hip from moving it remained stiff no matter how hard I tried to stretch it. Over the years I think this stiffness has spread throughout my entire body with me now having a stiff thoracic spine, shoulder and neck issues. I am hoping AIS stretching may help me but, I have to confess, everybody who demonstrates it see,s very flexible and I find it somewhat intimidating. I would be grateful to know if it can still help chronically tight stiff people like myself?
It’s important to be modest about your gains. Don’t try to become as flexible as an 16 year old olympic gymnast. Move your body to the end range, then you go just a little bit beyond what is comfortable. Hold that stretch for two seconds, then rest from that position. Hopefully, in the next repetition, you will be able to go a little bit further. Maybe one or two degrees improvement. It’s this little by little approach that promotes positive changes in your body. If you try and do a maximum stretch, your body will resist the change and tense up. That contraction will prevent you from getting any positive gains.
Degenerative changes at C-4-5 and c-5-6 plus bilateral c-4-5 uncovertebral ostearthrosis mild c-5-6 intervertebral disc degeneration, minimal right c-4-5 and c-5-6 and mild left c-6-7 facet osteoarthrosis and mild bilateral c-4-5 and right c-5-6 nueroforaminal narrowing..think this is it. will the active isolated stretching fix my issues or help resolve them over time? Was wondering if purchasing the upper neck/back video will be beneficial, please advise.
Hi Lisa L.,
These are issues that will be helped by doing the exercises in the upper body video as well as doing the psoas stretch in the lower body video. The best approach is to do a combination of self-stretching from the videos and receive treatment from a competent AIS practitioner.
Dear Sir,
My mother is 76 yrs old, with a l4 over l5 spondylisthesis with right foot drop for over 15 yrs now. Can she be helped with your videos. Moreover just 1 month ago she fell and has compressed spinal fracture of t12. too. What should i do?
Thanks
Sanna
Hi Sanna,
If your mother is still suffering from a spinal fracture, then she cannot do my self-stretching exercises until the fracture is completely healed.
When the fracture is healed, she can do the self-stretching exercises on my website. I recommend that your do them together so that you can help your mother do the exercises properly.
Doing the AIS exercises on my website, may not be 100% responsible for full recovery, especially because of how she presents. But it may be part of the solution. You may have to seek out other treatment options in your area. And still do the AIS self stretching exercises in addition to the other options that you find.

Hi Anthony – I live in Toronto. Not going to be in your area. Need help with frozen shoulder. Do you have a video I can purchase? It also appears that the type of stretching can’t be done on my own. Is this correct?
Hi Heida,
The upper body video will help with shoulder pain. It doesn’t include all the exercises for shoulder problems, but it will be helpful. I would like to make an addendum video to show more shoulder exercises, so for the meantime, this is what I can offer.

Hi,
I’ve just found your website. My problem is daily migraines in the evenings. I have disc C5 C6 degeneration in the fist stages with nerve exits narrowing. Can these exercises be done without instructor? Do you have any manuals or videos that I could purchase to see exactly how they are done or get someone to help me with it?
I would very much appreciate your reply.
Agnieszka
Hi Agnieszka,
Soon I am releasing a self-stretching AIS video that will help you with your migraine headaches. It will be available on my website within the next two weeks.
I am starting with the self-stretching video because it is safer and easier to perform. You will be able to follow along with the video and practice these exercises by yourself.
After paying for the video, you will be able to view it directly from your computer. There will be two videos. One that focuses on the upper body including neck, shoulder, upper back, arms, and headaches.
The other video will focus on the lower body, including low back pain, hip problems, leg muscles, glutes, and psoas. Each video will be $20 dollars.
I do have plans to produce an assisted stretching video series. But I have not started the filming process, so that project is far from ready. If you join my facebook fan page or my twitter page, you will be notified when the videos are available for purchase. My social media buttons are on the website in the upper right quadrant.
Kind regards,
Anthony Ohm
I would like to thank you for having these videos. They are very very helpfull. Is there a way you could have one about the “psoas muscle”? I have terrible pain on my femour, knee, gluteous and back pain when I do my homework since, I am sitting a long time. I would really apreciate it.
Thank you in advance
Faby
Hi Faby,
I am currently editing a video series on AIS upper body self-stretching. I do intend to do a video series on psoas muscle stretching, it will be coming in the immediate future. You are correct, sitting for long periods of time will tighten the psoas muscle which will cause low back pain. Long periods of sitting can also cause pain in the gluteal muscles, but that is the a different set of stretches. And extensive sitting can also tighten the hamstrings, which is one of the tight muscles contributing to knee pain.
Please check back on my website periodically to see when more videos are available.
Sincerely,
Anthony Ohm
hello,
I am a massage therapist and would like to know if you have training dvd’s available for sale? I actually came upon your site while I was looking for stretching techniques for a client that wants to see me for massage. He has been diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. It is very similar to MS. The segment of the spine that is affected is L4 & L5. Can you suggest the best stretching techniques I can use on him?
Your immediate response would be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Hi Donna C.
I recently did some filming of instructional videos for AIS stretching. So far, all my footage is on the upper body: chest, neck, arms, shoulders, upper back. And I have to find the time to edit the footage and then make it available. More video footage is in the works.
Thanks for stopping by,
Anthony Ohm
Hi Donna C.,
Yes, I do have videos that teach people how to do AIS self-stretching. The paid videos can be purchased here on my website.
I am also planning to make more videos. Please check back.
